RECOLLECTION OF THE PAST AND PRESENT
Healing is such a cyclical process, one minute you feel fine the next you're doing your best to fight off triggers and it feels like you're back to square one, like you didn't just spend months or years working on yourself, trying to be the best and healthiest version of yourself.
"Recollection of the past and present" was born from my urge to disassociate from my being and just observe my life from an outside perspective. On one hand it helps with clarity on where I am headed and where I have been, on the other hand it hurts. I see my present self all though grown still living and fighting battles from the past or extremely grateful for the past. That made me realize that I'm currently existing as both my present and past self and that I find truly fascinating.

Hence the repeating theme of duality in the composition of each almost all the elements. One way smaller making it feel younger than the other.
